Objective Internet constructed the BBC Corporate Directory system which includes facilities to allow users to submit their own directory entries. The entries were then checked by a central service prior to inclusion or amendment and included phone, e-mail and location information this was then integrated with MS Exchange directory service.
Following this a Corporate Calendar was developed for BBC Corporate Functions, the intention was to manage the daily calendars of the participants in Corporate Functions remotely.
As content management is a major problem for large web sites we developed a system for BBC Production for use on their Intranet sites.
Objective Internet also developed an Extranet to link to the Corporate Travel Services that enabled travel requests to be submitted for approval and then sent as an order to the BBC's travel agent.
